God in pursuit

God in pursuit
From the beginning God has always been interested in pursuing human beings, He created us in his own image therefore He longs to be in fellowship with us, Emmanuel.
9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"
-          God pursues us when everything is ok. God doesn’t change, nothing can affect him. He comes to us in good times the same way as in bad times. We cannot make it without him both in good and bad times; some people are destroyed when everything is ok, some are destroyed when things are amiss. He cares so much to be there for us always.
-          He pursues us when things are in a mess. He knew Adam and his wife were in a mess but He didn’t address their fall, (the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?") He is always focused on his love to fellowship with us. It is a problem to him when you fall, but it is even worse for him if you stay there. He is always there, sooner than you expected.
-          He knows our feelings in everything we go through. Sometimes God is not quick in addressing issues in our lives, basing on our feelings. He will never address an issue in a way you will run from him, He always wants to draw you to himself no matter the situation. Genesis 4:8-10  8 Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. 9 Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"  10 And He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground. 11 So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
Note: the only way to relate with God as a friend is to allow him address issues in your life anytime, anyhow, anyway. Seek to deliver yourself from feelings by relating with him by his Word.
Greatest Deceptions
a)       God is against you – God can never be against himself, He has created you in his image. God is always against evil because evil is against you. Evil cannot destroy God it can destroy us so when God is against evil, He is after protecting you. Don’t misunderstand him.
b)       God won’t listen to you – Many times God wants us to listen to him. His word leads to salvation, healing and deliverance for those who chose to obey. When something goes wrong we should humble ourselves by listening to him not giving excuses, in defense. Pride will always talk itself through to justify itself even when you are wrong.
c)       God doesn’t want to see you – God was pleased to see all his creation and He greatly delighted in Man. He could come every time to check on Adam because He loved to see himself in Adam. God doesn’t want to see you and me in that mess; because when you are in there it is like He himself is in it. Always remember wherever you are, He is also.
d)       God doesn’t love you – If God doesn’t love you, then He doesn’t love himself. In whatever He does, He always act in love; making sure it is for your good. Some issues come in a way we wouldn’t like, but they work for our good if we look at it in a healthy way. When man finds his way in everything, he ends up in regret at last.
God is always at work to guide us for our good, He can do without us but his love for himself in us moves him all the time, that is why He never sleeps or close his eyes on us. Psalms 32:8-9 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. 9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.

Mystery In God’s Pursuit
When God is in pursuit, there is a mystery for one to receive mercy whether everything is ok, or amiss. People have been greatly rewarded at this point and some have received a curse.
-          You need to know if He is pursuing you – when God is after you and you fail to realize, He will pass you by and you will receive a curse. A curse is simply SOMEONE OR SOMETHING WITHOUT GOD. Psalms 127. God may pass your way yet He is coming to you for your lifting. Wisdom is needed at all time. Ecclesiastes 9:11 11 I returned and saw under the sun that, The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.
-          You need to know if He is pursuing someone through you – sometimes God pursues someone through our lives. Not everything you receive from God is for yourself, you may be a channel. God does this way to; - emphasize, - build someone else faith, or in the case of disobedience (when the person you have been sent to has disobeyed God)
-          You need to know the time – when it is time for the fulfillment of a specific task on earth according to God’s will, He will pursue a person to fulfill it. When people fail to know the time, they will oppose God in pursuit. You will know the time basing on - how you have been praying, - peoples cry, - physical evaluation (age, weather, etc)

Matthew 15: 22-28 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed." 23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us." 24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" 26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs." 27 And she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." 28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
True faith will always see God in pursuit. (Identify him)
True faith will not settle for nothing less that God’s perfect will.
True faith will understand the hidden meaning in God’s hash words.
True faith receives from God beyond everyone’s expectation and perception.

Conclusion
When you see God in pursuit in the scriptures, and see him in pursuit in other people’s lives? You will see him in pursuit in your life. Read the bible to see him there, love people to see him in their lives then you will definitely see him in your own life.

Gods own.

If God loved us when we were helpless, ungodly enemies, how much more will He love us now that we are His children? By His blood . . . through the death of His Son we have been justified, that is "declared righteous," and reconciled, meaning our state of alienation from God has been changed. Believers are no longer enemies of God; they are at peace with God.
