The Lord Jesus came in this world to give us His life, we are not supposed to live our own life after we are born again. We must allow His grace by the Holy Spirit to change us into what He wants us to be.
We are not supposed to use the grace of God to become what we want, He should use His grace to make us what He wants us to be.

 Job 22:21-23
21 "Stop quarreling with God! If you agree with him, you will have peace at last, and things will go well for you. 22 Listen to his instructions, and store them in your heart. 23 If you return to the Almighty and clean up your life, you will be restored.
